Can I use JNI to run a java GUI simultaneously inside of a MFC C++ thread?

    If you ever find out how, I'd like to know too. I've been trying to find out how to run a JAVA application (report generator) from within C++ program (not necessarily MFC). Found out how to call C++ from JAVA, but not the other way around. I suspect you have to use something like system() or CreateProcess() to run a JAVA program from C++, and then you have to have the JAVA runtime server (or whatever it's called) running too.

    just create the mfc application dll and use it in java program

    yes, why not
    JNI is meant for that only.
