    ActiveSate make a tool that will allow you to use Perl scripting in Active Server Pages. You would probably still need to do changes so your script got, for example, data from the request object. Converting Perl to something like VBScript or JScript is probably a no-go - Perl is a much more rich and powerful language than either of these due to its dynamic nature, so an automated language conversion tool would be difficult. You can, oc course, do it by hand.

    Why do you want to do this anyway? You can run Perl anywhere you can run ASP so far as I'm aware, and with teh ISAPI plug-in free from ActiveState you can get good performance using Perl with IIS.

    ActiveState site here:-

    /(p.{2}l)/;$_=$1}$::b=~/(..)$/;print("$::a$::b $::c hack$1.");

    thanks,

    regarding why i a want to run asp; i am working within LAN, and running perl (cgi or pl) extension is some times banned due to security reasons that i am not a ware of. So, i decided to switch to asp. In fact, as you mentioned, running perl is more powerfull and more flexible, but the issu is security rather than performance.

    Again, many thanks
