    To use TCP/IP ports you should use windows.



    You can use FPC or VC or some other C to use TCP/IP ports. It's possible to use them in VB too.



    The VB is the easiest way...



    It should be possible under DOS also, but I haven't made any DOS programs using TCP/IP.



    Windows will do all the lowlevel stuff(as usually)
