MSDE for a Dummy!

anriceanrice Posts: 3Member
I am very familiar with SQL Server but I am only delving into MSDE and I am aware that it is very similar to SQL Server without the GUI.

What I am looking for introductory information on MSDE. I installed a new instance of MSDE but I am not knowledgeable enough at the moment how to access it.

Any references or on-line guide etc.. would be greatly appreciated.

The products we develop are currently distributed as sql-server but I also want the ability for them to be msde.

Thanks in Advance!

Andy

You can access MSDE through SQL server client tools (Enterprise Manager) or MS Access. Once you install Enterprise Manager you can easily administer MSDE in the same way as SQL Server.
