Oracle Prompting

esteroestero Member Posts: 1
Dear Oracle People:

I'm trying to use a substitution variable inside a
loop, but instead of prompting me each iteration in
the loop, it prompts me only the first time and uses
the same value for the duration of the loop.

How do you make it prompt each time through the loop?

Thank you

Substitution variables are like environment variables. When the script runs, they are all replaced immediately so the parser has a complete script to execute. There is an ACCEPT command, but I don't know how to use it.
