How to use check box buttons in a CListCtrl

I want to create a CListCtrl with multiple columns (InsertColumn ...) and I want one of the columns to contain check boxes. I believe I won't be able to do this with CCheckListBox since it is derived from CListBox. Is it possible to do this with CListCtrl by setting LVITEMs using the iImage member? I imagine I will need to override OnDrawItem? Is there a simple way to do this?

Owner-draw is the way to handle that. More specificly CListCtrl::DrawItem(LPDRAWITEMSTRUCT)

When it came down to it I dropped everything and ran.
