Ethernet for Redhat

I installed Redhat 9.0 on a Dell Inspiron 5100 but it doesn't see my ethernet adapter. In my device manager in Windows XP, I have listed as my network adapters:
1394 Net Adapter
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get my ethernet working?

Ugh...I'm still working to solve the same kinda problem. I have an nForce network adapter, again on board. nVidia released drivers, unfortunately once compiled I'm unable to load them (says they were compiled in GCC 2.something, even though gcc -v shows 3.whatever). Anyway, the answer is to go hunting for drivers, then hope you have more luck compiling them than I have to date. :-)
