Source code for the first ms dos operating system

I would like to have it .I know it must be free on the web. But i don't know where to get it . Please help.

    I highly doubt microsoft has opted to release the source.

    Well could you at least tell me where to get the source code for an old operating system for free. Anyone will do. But it must old.

    You could easily get old Linux Distributions.

    MS-DOS was originally written mostly in assembly language. About 15 or so years ago I saw it publshed in one of their technical manuals for version 3.0. Never saw an electronic copy of the source.
