Links not working in IIS, need help/troubleshooting advice

aagnvaagnv Member Posts: 1
I am working through some great Dreamweaver tutorials using one WROX's boooks but I am stuck. None of my links will point the correct folder.

I have created a site called TheCookingPlace.
The local folder is: F:WebsitesTheCookingPlace
The remote folder is: C:InetpubwwwrootTheCookingPlace
The testing server is: C:InetpubwwwrootTheCookingPlace
The local HTTP address is setup as: http://localhost/TheCookingPlace/
The testing server is setup as: C:InetpubwwwrootTheCookingPlace
and the URL prefix is setup as: http://localhost/TheCookingPlace/

I am able display any of my sites pages using the following URL:
http://localhost/thecookingplace/index.htm
http://localhost/thecookingplace/news.htm
http://localhost/thecookingplace/region.htm

However the links located in each page point to:
http://localhost/news.htm
http://localhost/region.htm
http://localhost/idex.htm
WHICH DELIVERS (page cannot be found) which leads me to believe i have something setup wrong w/ IIS. These links should have the folder /thecookingplace/ in them. I've been trying to figure this out for days.

sorry for long winded question, don't know how else to pose the question as I am perplexed, any help would be greatly appreciated !!!
Aaron
