dos-pause. HELP

dks11dks11 Posts: 2Member
When I run my c++ programs the output just flashes in the dos-promt window. Is there a way to stop this? I have tried to use the pause command but it did not work. Below is an example of a program that is not working.

#include

main()
{
printf("Howdy, neighbor! This is my first C program.
");
"system("Pause");"
return 0;
}

If you could help me then I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Derek
