the problem:

the php iframe loads before the xml table. when the server the php connects to is offline, its slow as can be. this is a problem. without changing where they appear in the html and repositioning them with css, how can i fix this? (tell the php to load up in like...10 seconds or something)?

Maybe I don't quite get what you want but...I believe the onLoad event of the body tag is triggerred when the page is loaded. So you could set the location of the IFRAME using Javascript once the page has loaded.

Or is that not what you meant?
