I was wondering if there's a way to import the existing linux driver for conexant hfs winmodem under freebsd. Mayb its possible to code it again starting from linux's base..I also heard they lately released the source, so what shall I need to code a driver by myself? will C and some asm be enough?
Im getting crazy on this by now _

I know freebsd has linux program support, and I believe it has linux driver support. Therefore, there is no need to rewrite it, or even recompile their source.

Is it actually for the right device? Did you make it? Did you install the linux support libs and modules?
