Display a Form as a PopUp Window

I've been trying for a while to make a usercontrol on VB6 wich includes a drop-down window that I want to create from a Form. To put it more clearly, I want to duplicate the function of a ComboBox, showing a dropdown which is a form that DOES NOT takes away Focus from the main Form.

Even I'm trying for all means to avoid subclassing, if there is no other way, I'll give it a try (If you explain me how).

Please, this idea doesn't let me sleep :D if you have any idea of how can I accomplish my quest, I will really apreciate it.

If you're going to click on that combobox you're making, then it will have focus at that moment. I don't know of any way around that. I suppose you could immediately return the focus to the main form after selecting something from the list though. Maybe I'm not completely understanding what you're trying to do though.
