I am attempting to roll my own MRP system using SQL7. I believe I have most of the tables in place which will be required to store and track data associated with materials & fabricated parts. I am having trouble with the scheduling portion of the task, i.e. man hours available vs man hours required for part manufacture associated to a calendar.
Would I need to create a calendar table to store the hours available and the hours required for each day? Is there a way I can plug into the system calendar to generate the calendar?
Please help ... I really don't know where to start.
