I dont know what you have against gcc, its a verynice linux compiler.... but there a few otherthere is egcs that is pentium optimizedand there is a few commercial ones

I dont have any thing against it per say, it is just loaded with all kinds of options(not a bad thing) unless you can't find any good doc's on it. I find the Man pages a little short, good for someone who already as a understanding of the subject.
Is there any books or good web pages on gcc; I'm looking forexplanations of the options.
