I need an Assembler compiler (MASM, NASM, TASM)

McWendellMcWendell Posts: 4Member
Hi,
I'm new to Assembler programming. My professor back in the college wants me to write and demonstrate an Assembler code. I already have some IDE tools to write an Assembler program, but I can't find any Assembler compiler suitable for me.

I have tried to locate MASM compiler (the Microsoft link is gone for good), tried to locate Borland's Turbo Assembler (there's only patches on its site)...

Please, can you guys help me find it out?

Thank you,
Wendel

I downloaded the nasm located at the link you provided, but it does not have the compiler and linker executables.

Thanks, anyway. I just downloaded masm32 at www.masm32.com.

I put together a free Nasm environment,
you might find a gem in there some where?

Nasm is upgragable for free on the internet, search
    www.google.com

    :
It is called assembler. Not assembler compiler. Assembly is the language and assembler is the program that translates the assembly code into executable instructions.
In the MASM615 the assemler is the ML.exe file. The linker is link.exe or link32.exe
    wish u luck
