Poverty Macintosh Compilers?

krisnelson86krisnelson86 Posts: 5Member
Howdy,

I'm taking a C++ course at school, and I'm learning it on a PC machine running Windows 98. However, I've really developed a liking for this language, and really want to start working on it outside of class time. The only problem is that I have a PowerMac at home, and don't have a great deal of money. So I've been looking for a free C++ compiler, and I've found tons of them for Windows, but none for Macs.

So, does anyone know of any free C++ Macintosh compilers? I would be deeply indebted to anyone who can help me out with this.

Thank you,
- Kris Nelson

You probably want to get the developer tools for mac, which includes the gcc compiler. There are probably some good IDE's for mac as well if you just look around.
