    Hi,
I dont think the concept of defragmentation exists in FreeBSD or Linux.
However you can run the fsck command on the disk.

    Lol Gautam!
I dont think ppl are ever going to be able to leave MS concepts behind! Over the phone, I had a tech at my ISP tell me to double click "My Computer" after I had told him that I was running Linux. I had called only because I needed the IP of their DNS servers, but the tech insisted on walking me through the process of setting up my account in windows (when I wasn't running windows). Needless to say, I managed to set up my account despite the annoyance. I think I told him that I wasn't running windows 3 or 4 times.
