Problem with ActiveX method name

John VargasJohn Vargas Posts: 34Member
Hi programmers:

I created an ActiveX control (MyCtr) using MFC ActiveX Control wizard. Then I added a member function called SetPort:

void CMyCtr::SetPort(int PortNumber)
{
...
}

The problem is that when I try to use this control in another MFC project using the following code:

MyCtr1.SetPort(1)

...the following error arises:

error C2039: 'SetPortA' : is not a member of 'CMyCtr'

So my question is: Why is the compiler appending the 'A' at the end of the method name?? What can I do to overcome this problem??
Thanks...John
