Question on output

How do output strings of text? so far I am only able to display characters or numbers. Can anyone tell me the basics or provide an example program?

Well I am just starting to learn assembly language. I'm using a program called ATP1, which is an assembler training program. It is used to create a hypothetical micorprocessor called BEP/16.
