quick question?!

I'm doing a final year project, an online store, in JSP, firstly, do you need a seperate .java file when you are writing jsp? or will the .html and the .jsp files do it? if anyone has any ideas where I can get some help with my project, I'd really appreciate it too!

When you create a JSP page and upload it to your server it is just code.

What Tomcat does it compiles the JSP page to a servlet, this is one of the advantages of JSP pages.

The only thing a client gets back is HTML in the browser.
