Hi,

I want to write a batch file that would add a path string to the existing path in autoexec.bat.

So, do you want to actually modify AUTOEXEC.BAT's PATH statement to include yours or just append a directory name to the current PATH? I'm currently implementing the latter case.

I was half way through making ADDPATH.COM when I read your message
yesterday. It's done now and I'm looking for a beta tester.
Do you want to give it a run through ?

I really don't want copies all over untill it's check out good
since, altering boot files gets people angery at me
    when they screw it up.
So you could wait a few days till I live with it
    & polish the edges.

PS. it kinda makes an installer out of a batch file.
Then there are .bat to .exe program out there,
to package it up. Throw in a whistle&bell.com
    & yer good to go.
