Job Scheduling on Oracle server

I have a job which needs to be executed on the last day of every month. I would like to know if there is any mechanism by which I could let the Oracle DB server do this job periodically for me without my intervention

Yes there is procedure to do automatic tasks but you've to do it from the UNIX prompt, and it name is "crontab":

    1) Make sure you have the right OS privileges to create executable
    files
    2) From the UNIX prompt type this: crontab -e. This command will open
an editor to write the commands that you need to execute in
automatic way. The format of crontab you can find it on your UNIX
    manual
    3) assign executable permissions to the file.

    I hope this helps,
