How do I put a .gif file in my form and keep it animated?

  • Hi Matt,

    You have to place your gif in an HTML page and then

    load that page into the web browser control. Then,

    place the web browser control on a form.

    If you right click on the ocx bar and select components,

    then seclect the web browser control from the list of

    ocx's available in your system directory.

    To load the browser control with a html page:

    WebBrowser1.Navigate = "c:mypage.html"

    Then you can resize the browser control to the

    same size as the gif image and it's like having

    an animated gif displayed on the form.

    Hope it helps,

    Mark
