Uses CRT and clrscr command with Win XP

forumtcforumtc Posts: 1Member
In Win XP and Turbo Pascal 7 I cannot use the Uses CRT library and clrscr command to clear the screen as I could use it with other Win versions, i.e. Win 98. If I add it I get a runtime error.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can achieve the clear screen outcome in Win XP and Turbo Pascal 7?
Thank you.

    1. What is the error number and description? Do you get the same
    error if you use CRT unit but not use any CRT functions or
    procedures? Is your CRT unit patched?
    2. Alternatively try this:
procedure set_text;assembler;
    asm
    mov ax,3
    int 16
    end;
This will initialise 80x25 screen and clear it.
