PWS and file extentions

I just installed PWS to test my website offline but My website uses php and asp scripts. When I open a php file it opens php in a sepatate dos box and executes te .php file there. This means it doesn't return the generated html page to internet explorer. I think I should change the extention .php in the file extentions screen to DDE but I don't really know what I should type there. Could anyone help me with this?

I tried changing the file to be opened to: "D:Program Filesphpphp.exe" -f "%1" because it first tried to open my editor...

I don't use PWS with PHP, but I know that the php manual has a section on configuring PHP for use with PWS/IIS. The online version is available at:
    http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.iis.php

    Hope this helps.

Hey mac, my old friend. If you are still in trouble with that get Wampp from http://www.apachefriends.org/. This is a bundle with Apache, PHP, MySQL and stuff.
Hell! I posted the same link in three posts!.....:-)
