Displaying raw RGB data in DOS

Hello Everyone
This may seem extremely silly but ..
I would like to get a confirmation of this : I have 8 bit RGB values and alpha values of each pixel obtained from a Decoder. Can I directly dump them on the screen buffer without doing any processing ?
of course blending the alpha values and rgb data with background data needs to be done but is anything more to be done

Any help will be gratly appreciated

Nope. As long as you're in the right video mode, it's cool. I've already done that. it's not hard. You can use VESA. It's way easy...
