zip files in linux

hi my name in thomas from holland.
i want to be able to open zip files in linux, but mandrake tells me something about ZIP is not being found in my PATH....what should i do.
is it possible anyway.
ps: any links for installing apache on my server maybe? and samba

    Have you installed the zip/unzip programs? They probably come in an RPM for Mandrake. There are numerous graphic interfaces for them.

    Apache is very easy to install. But, if you really want a link:

    I'm never setup SAMBA, but how hard can it be? Try searching Google.

    In Linux, the common ZIP program is called "gzip".
    To get more information, type "man gzip" at
    the console.
