Question about x-box games

eibweneibwen Member Posts: 19
How do you play an xbox game on a PC? Since xbox games instructions are the same as intel x86's, this shouldn't be as hard as playing othere console games (psx,ps2,gameboy) on a PC is it? I heard that you still need a xbox emulator to play it. Why do you still need an emulator to play a xbox game? What is the difference between xbox "game codes" and "win32 codes"? I might be talking nonsense here. Any response be it "a nelson haha" or "that's 70 show dumbass":-D will be greatly appreciated.

Because, even though you are using the same machine code, the XBOX uses different file references to execute the applications/games. For example the most common executable is the .exe or .com extensions. With the XBOX this is not the case. They have some extra libraries built into the XBOX to allow proper execution as well. That means, you would either have to write these libraries, or have a copy of them (the Xbox emulator).
