i have two hard drives i would like to run redhat on one and windows

i have two hard drives and i would like to run redhat on one and windows on the other. they are on a laptop and are only about 4 gigs apiece. is this possible? and will i have to partition? sorry im new at this. thanks in advance.

    Yes, it's possible. You'll can setup LILO/GRUB to know where Windows is and boot it if you tell it to. I've never setup GRUB at all or LILO to boot Windows, but there's plenty of information on how to do this online.

    You most certainly will, if you want to get any speed out of Linux (which [italic]can[/italic] exist on a Windows partition, but I don't recommend it).
