[b]Job Description:[/b] You will be working as a member of our growing software development team, specifically with Quality Assurance, developing a next-generation data storage product. You should exhibit flexibility, strong motivation, and a proven record of meeting difficult technical challenges and tight deadlines.

[b]Desired Skills:[/b] Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. An extensive background in test implementation, reporting techniques including trends and matrixes, and programming knowledge in C and C++ is highly desirable. You must also be able to work independently and unsupervised.

[b]Skill Summary:[/b] SAN/NAS, C and C++

[b]Experience:[/b] 7-10 years QA test experience, 5-7 years test experience in the storage industry specializing in SAN and NAS, 2-3 years supervisory experience a plus

[b]Job Description:[/b] Due to our steady growth over the past year, XXX needs experienced, hands-on technical leaders to manage key product development areas within the company. Current areas of interest are file system internals, RAID, Windows security protocols (CIFS), and NFS. Along with technical leadership, you will participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing, and early customer support. The candidate should exhibit flexibility, strong motivation, and a proven record of meeting difficult technical challenges and tight deadlines.

[b]Requirements:[/b] Must have experience leading software engineering teams in the development of SAN/NAS technology. Experience with sound software engineering practices is required. Experience with real time operating systems such as VxWorks/Tornado is highly desirable. Significant experience with one or more of the following technologies is required: h NAS/SAN Technology h NFS Implementation h NT File System Internals h Unix File System Internals h RAID Firmware.

The candidate should exhibit flexibility, strong motivation, and a proven record of meeting difficult technical challenges and tight deadlines. Immediate interest is for Sun (Solaris), but may be required to port drivers to other Unix platforms.

[b]Desired Skills:[/b] Extensive experience writing Unix device drivers, preferably for communications devices, is required.

[b]Experience:[/b] Minimum of 5 years of Unix device driver experience and 10 years total; NAS/SAN experience required
