I am trying to write a program that will run on an SCO UNix

Hello, I am trying to write a program that will run on an SCO UNix
server and act as a mass emailer. I have the program working
using a system call to "mutt" for the attachment. The problem is
that I am trying to get a fancy email. The client doesn't want it in
.doc or .pdf because the recipient might not open it. I can send it
as a .gif and it shows in outlook, but is also an attachment. Other
people (advertisers) have sent me emails where the body of the
message is in HTML. This would be perfect for me, but when I cut
and paste the HTML code into the body of the message, I get
HTML code, like and , instead of the way it should
appear. Is there a trick and I am missing it ?
