no mouse cursor in XWin

grizzly78grizzly78 Member Posts: 2
Hi,

I installed Linux on my PC (for the first time), and I have a little problem with the XWin.
Instead of a mouse cursor, I have a spot on the screen. I was thinking that this is caused by the mouse driver or by the video driver.

Can you help me out here?

Thanks

Regards,
Grizzly

I've heard that often times the cursor won't render (at all or correctly) if you have enabled "HWcursor" (see your XF86Config file) but your video card won't handle it.
