Need help in writing programs in Kernel space


Hi all,

I am very much new in linux kernel programming.I need to write program in kernel space which will talk with a linux network device driver and will be multi-thread as well.Can i write multithread program in kernel space?.There is another think I have to do is make connection with other hosts(machine).How to do that ,as far as I know I can't open sockets from kernel space.Is there any work arounds?.

any help will be appreciated.
