Telnet Batch Processing

This is a two-part question. I'm looking for a telnet client that can batch process commands from a file (similar to how the MS FTP client works with the -s switch).

1. Does anyone know of an existing product that does this well?

2. I couldn't find an answer to 1, above, so attempted to write my own using the MS Winsock Control. It works reasonably well, but I'm having two major problems: a. characters are randomly omitted when being processed (Hello is processed as Helo, for example); and b. I can't figure out if/how to set/send NTLM authentication.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, mc
