Cleaning up my RAM

grimulkangrimulkan Member Posts: 3

When my computer starts, a number of background programs start along with Windows. These programs are not present in the STARTUP folder nor are they present in the WIN.INI file. This eats up my RAM.
How do I stop them from starting automatically with windows? Is there anywhere in the registry I can go to see a list of programs which start automatically?
Thanks in advance for your help!
