onload self scaling window?

Hi,
I'm trying to to make from my thesis an online version. For that I want to use some self scaling and moving windows. I found and reworked the piece of code here beneath. But I'm not that familiar with javascript. Is it possible to scale the window itself instead of scalling a blank pop-up window

    Hi there,

    This code will allow you to move the window to the top left hand corner of the screen then set the width and height of the current window (or whatever window you specify) to the width and height of the screen.

    You're going to have to play around with the figures a little tho...Run it and you'll see why!
function resizeWindow() {
    window.moveTo(0, 0);
    window.resizeTo(screen.width, screen.height);
    }
Hope this helps!
