I've found something called neuro-basic at

    http://www.ife.ee.ethz.ch/neuro/

Also references to NES NBASIC at

    http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~rrost/sof/nbasic.html

    http://www.bannister.org/software/rocknes.htm

I can't find an actual download page, but perhaps he can contact the authors of these pages and ask them.

Ray, I have already emailed them and awaiting an answer. I'm not sure if neuro-basic is the same as nbasic, at 74 I'm not sure if he could learn to use something else. I will keep looking and thanks for the input.

I'm not sure it's one of those, on one of my hard nights (when I spend the entire night on programming and searching new programming stuff) I readed something about NewBasic, I don't know what it is, I'm not sure it's a compiler but I'm sure I hired it somewhere.

To tell the truth I've never heard of NBasic either. All I did was use a couple of meta engines to look for it. Nearly all the links I got back were for the NES, including loads of emulators for it.

You need to find out what processor it's for.
Is it for a PC, a handheld, a microcontroller
or what? I've seen links to several possibilities
    just as [B][italic]brisray[/italic][/B] did.

Ask him for a few clues as to what it could be.
I was surprised myself at the wide range of
    results I got on Google.[/size=8]

    [size=10][b][blue]
Some other possibilities I found: [/blue][green]

    ---NBasic for the Palm computer.

---NBasic for the NEC PC-9800 (with
    an Intel 8086 CPU)

---NBASIC for the North Star machines
    (archaic).

He is wanting to use if on a pc. I had another gentleman about a year ago that needed me to transfer his nbasic to his new pc and I transfered them from an old 286 with no problem, so I don't think any of those that have been listed so far are what I'm looking for. Sure wish now I had made a copy of his files while I was transfering. It is an old dos programming language. That's all I know for sure.
