Problem with SIS 6215 on Red Hat 7.1

Hi everybody,

I'm a newbie. I tried installing Red hat linux 7.1 on my system which has a SIS 6215 display adapter. The problem is I'm not able to boot into any desktop (KDE/GNOME). I tried even configuring my video card as a standard VGA card, but even that didnt work. It seems the card is not recognized by Red Hat. The problem persists with mandrake linux too. Even one of my friend has the same problem

What exactly is the problem ?. Wrong display driver? . Please help .
