making an exe

If i compile my code into an exe for testing....will it wrap up my source or let it be?

    If you compile your EXE correctly, it will not touch your source at all.
    The only exception to this, is if you do one of two things:

    1. Tell the compiler to create an EXE with the same name as your source file.

    2. If your program is supposed to change your source code while it runs...not likely.

    In any case, you should always make a backup copy of your source before compiling, going home for the day or breathing more than twice :)
