How to disable window re-sizing?

This may seem like a simple question, but how do you disable the

re-sizing of a window? The maximize icon in the system menu

should also be grayed out or disable.

I basically want the window to behave like the Calculator program

in the Accessories group.

  • This is the style:

    WS_OVERLAPPED | WS_SYSMENU | WS_MINIMIZEBOX

If you are using API mode, use in CreateWindowEx()

If you are using MFC, set in PreCreateWindow of CMainFrame.

    Thanks

I had to throw in a WS_VISIBLE in there to see it, but it worked! I

originally was using WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW, and now I see that it included

WS_MAXIMIZEBOX which was screwing up everything.

    Thanks!
