how to 'get' the long filenames from DOS using perl

microBOYmicroBOY Posts: 64Member
i'm a newbie.
recently, i'm writting a perl script to convert hyperlinks into relative address:

eg.
saved HTML file from IE - "filetutorial123perl.html"

...
...
LINK
...
...

i wish convert it into relative address using search&replace regex

...
...
LINK
...
...

i created a batch file to run the perl script by sending the filenames as parameter...but DOS under win32 will change long filenames(LFN) into short filenames (eg. filetu~1.html).

How can i can atually get the LFN so that i can convert all the hyperlink into relative address??
