Hi

About using the Parallel Port on my PC.
Can you recommend me to any good articles, or explain it if you just so feel the urge.

What input/output values does it use? 0V & 5V?

I can program in QB, so I'm not a dunce :-)

    Tarik,

By 0v and 5v, are you referring to voltages? If you are, your concern with that would only be if you were building a circut board.

As for using the LPT port in a Basic program, you can open it and write to it just like any other device (ex: com). As for reading from the LPT port, it occupies I/O ports 0378h through 037Fh and is event-latched to IRQ7.

    Hope this helps...
