OLD Linux...

does any one know where i can download old mandrake 6.1 or redhat 5.2 or debian 1.x since i cant install clean cut new linux OS on the 120Mhz machine.

help would be appreciated.

    and if that doesnt install then they are still serving up older versions than that

    Just pick a distro with less "modern desktop targeting" than RedHat or Mandrake and it should run fine on an older machine. The newest Debian shouldn't have a problem, as it doesn't make many assumptions in the install process. Maybe I'm just missing something about your problem.

    Yeah, a newer distro may even be a better choice in some cases,
    since more and more hardware is being supported all the time.

    The minimum system requirements for SuSE 7.1 are:
    CPU: 486 DX
    RAM: 16 MB
    Disk: 200 MB free
